Samuel Hanks was blessed to be brought up in a preacher’s home. At the of age nine, Samuel accepted Christ as his Saviour. He then surrendered to the Lord’s calling to preach at sixteen. After graduating from his Christian school, Samuel attended Hyles-Anderson College. There, he met his future wife, Lydia Allen. After graduating in 2023, Samuel and Lydia were married in July.
God led Samuel and Lydia to Bailey’s Grove Baptist Church where they both serve in various ministries. Samuel oversees the maintenance of all the ministry buildings, oversees the landscaping of the properties, and is the Sunday school teacher for the Young Couples class. Lydia teaches English at Bailey’s Grove Baptist School, helps her husband in the Sunday school class, and is also involved in several other ministries.
